May 27: No Class	May 7: Medical Interventions We will talk about forceps, epidurals, pain medication, cesarean sections and other ways that can assist with your delivery. May 14: Moms Nutrition Interactive discussion promoting healthy eating habits. Learn to read food labels and review the new food pyramid. May 21: Discomforts of Pregnancy How to navigate mood swings, anxieties and joys of pregnancy. Body changes and ways to alleviate common prenatal discomforts. How to exercise safely. May 28: Baby Care Basics How to feed, burp, give a bath and diaper care. Strategies for comforting a crying baby and coping skills. Review Shaken Baby information. BIBLE STUDY-WEDNESDAY 1:00 – 2 pm BIBLE STUDY EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 1:00 – 2:00	May 1: 10 Things Every Child Needs Some of the most important things a child can receive. May 8: A Mothers Influence May 15: Play is Important 1-2 yr. Age appropriate play for your child defined. This class is an interesting discussion of how we can better parent our children, even through playtime. May 22: Childproofing Learn how to go through every room of your house and childproof for every age. May 29: Raising Children of Character . Storkroom – Diapers, clothing, cribs, baby furniture, formula, baby wipes, and layettes.

Parenting classes- Taught primarily by nurses or other professionals.

Confidential Pregnancy Counseling- Confidential information on a person’s options, including abortion, adoption and how to parent an unexpected child.

Referrals- Excellent medical referrals, and information & resources for financial assistance.

Moms groups- New parents meet together weekly to build relationships with each other, discuss issues, and learn from experience.
